HOW TO GET VERIFIED BADGE/GREEN TICK ON YOUR WHATSAPP ACCOUNT WITH VSSQUARES?

According to the statement from WhatsApp:

WhatsApp is exploring ways for you to connect with the businesses that matter
to you.
WhatsApp has verified that the phone number of this contact belongs to the
associated business. The green badge   next to the contact's name confirms
that this is a verified business account.
If you'd like to stop a business from contacting you, you can block them.
Note: WhatsApp business verification is currently limited to a small number of
businesses participating in a pilot program.

WhatsApp launched its Business App to support small and medium-sized
businesses in India, UK, Mexico, Italy, Indonesia, and the United States. The
Facebook-owned chat app provides business-centered features and resources
to help companies get a presence on the chat app, develop themselves, and
connect with customers effectively. The app is free to download on Android as
well as iOS.
WhatsApp is used by over 25 percent of the world's population. In India, more
than 400 million WhatsApp users are mostly customers. WhatsApp thus
provides a good facility for the businesses to serve their customers. Getting a
verified badge from WhatsApp helps businesses attract more customers for
that.

Why Should Be Your Whatsapp Business Account Verified?

Verify your WhatsApp Business account if you want the potential customers or
customers to view your business contact as the official. People feel more
comfortable and confident when talking or coming into contact with a verified
account, i.e. getting an official or authenticated badge.
We tend to interact more when we see a notification or message from some
WhatsApp Business number which has a verified badge. Although it is not

necessary to have a verified badge before using the WhatsApp business, it is
better to have an official contact or a verified business in the business for a
longer time.
When a customer sees your WhatsApp Business Account as a verified account,
they continue to connect with trust and there are high chances that they will
return to do business with you for a long time.
A large or growing company that aims to spread its outreach to more users
worldwide might want to distinguish itself from the crowd and prove worthy of
their trust as a genuine business.

How to Get Verified / Achieve That Green Tick on WhatsApp?

When your WhatsApp account is an official business account (verified), instead
of the phone number, the display name will be available in the chat list, chat
screens, chat groups, and contact view. In the contacts view, there will be a
green checkmark next to the name displayed.
This means that the coveted green badge next to its name can only be proudly
displayed by an officially verified WhatsApp Business account. You may have
noticed some companies already have it, but how exactly did they get it? How
to verify a WhatsApp Business Account and show your green fancy badge to
prove it?
There's nothing from your side that can be done to earn the badge, however.
The Chat app has its form of verification. The chat app checks the account
based on their requirements and then gives the green badge. This means that
you won't get the green badge simply by downloading the device. WhatsApp
would then take its own time to check your account and give you the green
badge.
If you want to get a genuine, verified WhatsApp business account with the
green checkmark, you'll need to take a different, slightly more complex
approach than simply downloading, installing, and signing up with the free
application.
You'll need to take the road that will require you to get a WhatsApp Business
API. It will involve a little more effort and a little bit of money but it's worth it
in the end.
 You must use an authorized WhatsApp Business Account.
 You must have 2 step authentications enabled.

 Your Facebook Business Manager should be verified by Facebook.
 Must be an organization or business.
 You are strongly recommended to be in or above the Messaging Stage or
Tier 2.

WHATSAPP BUSINESS VERIFICATION PROCESS

For WhatsApp business verification, you can directly sign up using the
following link:
https://www.facebook.com/business/m/whatsapp/business-api

As mentioned above, Facebook has partnered globally with Business Solution
Providers to assist businesses onboard through WhatsApp Business APIs.
The approval time is about 1-3 weeks.
The process is as follows:
1. Log in with a business solution provider (BSP)
A BSP is a network that can link your business to the WhatsApp Business
API, offering all of WhatsApp's benefits and much more. This is a platform
that has the tools, and WhatsApp authorizes you to carry out all the
necessary checks into your business' legitimacy. A BSP, in particular, has the
ability to:
 Create, access, and manage your official business account on WhatsApp
 Link your business account with the WhatsApp Business API
 Manage messages from your customers in a single inbox
 Give the team leaders a place to collaborate

 Analyze and provide useful insights based on the results.
2. Create a Business Manager account.
Business Manager, a Facebook tool that helps you organize and manage
your business, requires you to have a Facebook profile first, so you can use
your Facebook username and password to sign up. Therefore, the
authentication process is made easier than just using an email and
password.
3. Give the BSP your Business Manager ID (BMID) of 16 digits.
Your BSP will need your Business Manager ID to start creating and
verifying your WhatsApp Business Account. This information can be found
in the Business Settings of your Business Manager under Business Manager
Account Name. Email your Business Manager ID to the BSP when you find
it.
4. Allow BSP to send messages on your behalf.
When it has your Business Manager Name, then BSP will need your
permission to message to your customers on your behalf. It will give you a
request for "messaging on behalf of" via email and the Business Manager
Platform.  Approve it under Business Settings then requests, under
received.
5. Verify your company name, policies, and display.
After approving the request from your BSP, you will need to verify the name
and policy of your company in the Business Manager, so that WhatsApp can
see that it is genuine. This can be done in Business Settings, under
Verification then Start Verification. This choice is greyed out until you
authorize the "messaging on behalf of" of your BSP.
Your display name must adhere to WhatsApp Commerce and Business
policies, and obey the company's guidelines. Remember that you will not be
able to change it without losing the verified status once you have registered
your business's contact name on WhatsApp under the official Business
account.
After entering your business information, selecting the type of business,
and entering your phone number, you will receive a verification code (via
phone call, text message, or e-mail). Submit it to complete the process, and
give your BSP the first message.
